TV Sound CD cover
Jersey-bred rock without the cheese! TV Sound returns with AMBER GLASS HIGH, their first album in over a decade, and it is SO worth the wait! My pal Jinglejeff Maiore and the fine folks as Killing Horse Records asked me to do the design of the CD, utilizing some photos from Jeff's archives (Tony Baloney!), and here are the results. Now go buy the disc. Do it.
My Three Nipseys
I worked with my pal, Beel Hamilton on the design and layout for the band Nipsey's new ep, AS SEEN ON TV, which incorporated some olde-timey TV GUIDE style graphics, including this ad for the legendary program, MY THREE NIPSEYS. Remember? Remember?

We Are Your Friends
Here's what you do: You go to the WFMU Pledge Page and donate some money to keep the best freakin' radio station this side of WKRP live and on the air (and the internet, too). Maybe you'll get a copy of dee-jay Therese Mahler's compilation, WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS: A SOUNDTRACK FOR FIRST CONTACT AND INTERPLANETARY DIPLOMACY. I did the artwork. Which is, you know, why it's posted here.

Gruß vom Krampus!
This is the cover to my 2010 Christmas compilation, GRUß VOM KRAMPUS! featuring the beloved Germanic holiday figure from the 19th century. Mayhaps you'd be inclined to check out the single I did with my girlfriend and some chums. Here's the link to the Jingleberries' CHRISTMAS VIDEO PARTY.

Secret Country WOMEN, WHISKEY and NIGHTLIFE
I was tremendously excited to be asked to do the full artwork and layout for Kearny NJ's own Secret Country's CD WOMEN, WHISKEY and NIGHTLIFE. This is the cover. To see the rest, you have to buy the CD, a walloping slab of songs concerning the complex issues noted in the title. You will not regret it.

Holly Jolly! CD cover
The cover and inaly to my 2009 Christmas compilation... it's got naked booty on it! There was also a censored version for the kids.
Spider-Man CD covers
Painstakingly assembled by recording music snippets from the cartoon onto cassette, then burned to CD, the music from the first season of SPIDER-MAN (or, SPIDERMAN) is still frustratingly unavailable commercially, while The KPM Music Library used by the Bakshi Studios for the second and third seasons is now on iTunes! Download 'em and make your own cover (like I did!).

The Beards CD Art
Kim Shattuck of the Muffs teamed with Lisa Marr and Sherri Solinger in 2002 for this side project called The Beards. I did three illustrations for their album, FUNTOWN. Below are the CD art and an unused drawing for the inlay (if you want to see the third one, you have to buy the now out-of-print, but well worth tracking down record).
Rye Coalition CD cover submissions
In 2005, Jersey City's now-dormant (but hopefully not dead) Rye Coaltion had open submissions for CD cover designs for their next album. These were mine. They were rejected. I cried.

Super Songs
These are covers and inlay cards for the first two compilations I made of comic book / superhero music and theme songs. Yes, I know how to waste time. Volume Two's front cover is based on Nancy Sinatra's 1966 album, HOW DOES THAT GRAB YOU? while the inlay is obviously a take on the Beatles' HELP!

PSYCHO soundtrack cover
In 2004, I made an unsuccessful bid to get a job at a music supervision company. As part of my "audition," I put together an alternate soundtrack to PSYCHO, pegging specific songs to scenes (such as Roger Miller's "The Wrong Kind of Girl" for the scene where Marion is rushing the car salesman, Built to Spill's "I Would Hurt a Fly" for Arbogast searching the Bates Motel, and Sonic Youth's "Shadow of a Doubt" for the shower scene). This was the cover.
XMCD 2003: Baby, It's Cold Outside!
The cover (front and inside) to my 2003 Christmas compilation CD. The front image is from the December, 1959 issue of ROGUE Magazine; The interior illo was from a 1967 ad for Haig Scotch.
XMCD 2006: Attaboy, Clarence! Cover
This is the cover to my 2006 Christmas compilation, ATTABOY, CLARENCE! That's my baby brother and me sitting in front of a tree that probably had about $5,000 worth of eBay items under it at today's prices. Major Matt Mason!
