S'TAN & SOCIAL GRACE: No Reserve
This was the final episode of S&SG done for THE NEW YORK HANGOVER, but the paper folded (and at the time wasn't set up for large graphics... man, how the internet has changed) before it ever saw print.

Tough Guy teaser
This was the placeholder for the first version of Tough Guy Goods & Services in 2003, when the plan was for it to be a greeting card / graphics products company. Yeah, that didn't work out.
Tough Guy Home Page V.2
Maybe the saddest thing about choosing to adapt this site to the Blogger format is the loss of the home "Splash" page, something I really liked designing and drawing. But I have been told that research indicates that web-surfers hate home pages that merely lead you to actual content, so I guess this piece is an artifact of an ancient bygone time for the internet! This was the home page for TGGS version 2 from 2003.
S'TAN & SOCIAL GRACE: Not People! Animals!
This episode of S&SG takes place at Maxwell's in Hoboken, and many of the background characters were actual employees at the time.

S'TAN & SOCIAL GRACE: The Art Critic
S'TAN & SOCIAL GRACE began as a comic strip for a publication called THE BARFLY in Lancaster PA in the mid-1990s. The strip told the tale of a misanthropic devil and his far more outgoing girlfriend. When I moved to Hoboken NJ in 1996 and began doing work for THE NEW YORK HANGOVER, I resurrected the strip, re-drawing many of those early episodes, tweaking them for the "big city," as it were. This is one of the re-done strips.
